Can I create my own albums?

I have recorded radio play serials via EyeTV and imported them into iTunes. Any idea how I can organise them into albums, much as those acquired via podcast are organised? Albums have advantages over playlists, but I can find no way of creating an album of my own. Also series details can be entered once for the entire album, etc.
Creating a folder goes some way, but I have to then create a play list to insert in the folder, and it does not show up in the album list along with the podcasts.

Any help for an iTunes newbie would be appreciated - thanks.

It sounds like you just need to edit the tags for the files that you're talking about. In iTunes, just select all of the files that you want to put together as an "album" and choose "Get Info" from the File menu. A box with a bunch of different fields should pop up. You can them name them as one album. Then, you can select individual files and edit their track numbers to put them in the order that you want.
