iPod dock connector pass-through?

iPod dock connector pass-through?

Does anyone know of an FM transmitter or remote control for the iPod that is Dock Connector based, but provides a "pass through" for a second dock connected device?

Problem: I have a Griffin AirClick remote that uses the dock connector and at present with my 4G ipod, use a "top mounted" iTrip FM transmitter. While I can move the remote to a contemplated 5G iPod, I an "dead in the water" with the iTrip. Numerous Dock Connected FM transmitters abound, but I can't use them simutaneously with the dock connected remote.

It would be nice if I could link two devices in series.

Bill,

Not sure how useful or compatible this is with other devices but the new dock connecting iTrip has a mini USB port on it.

Thanks for the response, but that won't work for me. I would like a solution that lets me use the dock connected remote as "primary" and add an FM tramsmitter to that. I can add an iTrip to the speaker output with my 4G iPod, but the 5G does not have the power socket on top.

At this year's CES, TARGUS had EXACTLY what I am looking for...both a remote control and an FM transmitter, each with a dock connector pass through.

Their web site show show it in a couple of weeks...proposed availability is late spring-early summer.
