An application to transfer .exe files to .app?

Well, I really need something that will convert files from the .exe format to apple's .app format (preferably a free program)

iBook G4, Mac OS X (10.4.3)

If you are developing a software and need it to be crossplatform, there are several tools which some developers in this forum may be able to help you better with.

If you have an existing application that is in .exe only format, not made by you, you can try to use one of the emulators on this page, or search engines on it to find equivalent software made for the Mac, or contact the application developer requesting for a Mac version of their software to be made.

Window's .exe applications cannot run on Macs. There is no such thing as a conversion free or otherwise.

If you need to run Window's applications either get a Window's computer or get a Window's emulator for the Mac (there are several around, none are free, and you'll find them at www.versiontracker.com.)

If on the other hand you are trying to open self-extracting archives made on a Window's machine you may have some success purchasing Stuffit Deluxe, also not free.

well, the main problem that I need to resolve is that my apple laptop will not open .swf files; these are flash files that I have transferred over from my Windows 98 computer.....does anyone know what program I should use to open these .swf files? Also: my laptop wont open .php files either.....very annoying, does anyoe have a helpful hint on this?
