ACL corruption

I have ACL enabled on 10.4.3 Server and SuperDuper will not finish correctly cloning my volume. Sending them the error log they say my ACL is corrupt. If I turn ACL off on the volume it backs up fine, but if I enable it again, it fails. How can I repair this ACL issue?

Power Mac G4 1GHz, Mac OS X (10.4.3), 2G memory 40G boot drive in mirror set with 120G partitioned backup drive.

David,

I had this exact same problem a few days ago.

I reset the ACL permissions as you have done, and still had the problem.

In the end I tracked the problem down to some Automator applications I created late last week. Using ls -leR from the terminal you can see what the ACLs are for all the files and directories.

I read about an issue on the macosx-server email list about ACLs for applications not being changed when you apply them through the workgroup manager. I think this was what was happening with Automator application I created. As soon as I removed them, all was okay again.

Good luck,

Marcus
