IPOD FROZEN ON DO NOT DISCONNECT SCREEN!

Ya I've had my ipod for a week and today I unplugged my ipod by accidnent when it said do not disconnect...

now the backlight is frozen on and the screen is frozen none of the buttons are responsive and when i plug it into the computer it does absolutely nothing... ive read about doing those r things but the buttons arent doing anything, please help!!!

Edit** Also when I plug it in it is not recognized by the computer a sa drive... I'mg gonna let the battery die overnight i hope it dies and see what happens

All you have to do is reset your ipod, Which is #2, But try the hold switch first.

1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)

2.Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

Tip: If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.

If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep.

Nevermind guys how I fixed it was by letting the battery drain overnight then hooked it bakc up in the morning it need like 2 mins to chARGE A LITTTLE NOW EVERYTHING IS FINE

I have the same trouble, I've tried resetting my IPOD, it continually shows a folder with a "!" and says to go to www.apple.com/support/ipod

I don't know what else to do...

Heyy my Ipod is frozon on the Do not disconnect screen too and all my buttons are frozan and I cant do anything and when I tried to let the battery die out and then re-connect it the next day the same the happened. What do I do? And I cant reset it cause everything is frozen.
