I can not see the easy way for formatting of code in varies manners?

what is this?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.6), 2.4GHz IntelCore i5 320 HD 8GB RAM

Start with the advanced editor. Too bad it's not something that's on by default and, AFAICT, can't be set to be the default.
