NMDeviceObserver

When shutting down OSX i get a dialog box that tells me to close NMDeviceObserver before continuing. I can't find that process. Is it a part of OSX? Why does it stop any shutdown? What to do with it?

Hi

a brief look suggests that it's a process used by a mobile internet device, perhaps tucked away inside an application by the name of web'n'walk Manager or something similar.

Hopefully, that may ring a bell, and you can shutdown that application or 'connection'. If not, Activity Monitor (Applications/Utilities) should show it & let you quit the thing.
