I am not seeing how to do this either. The only options I see are "Report Abuse", "Like" or "Reply. Should I be looking somewhere else entirely? Couldn't find it in the tutorials either.
Hey WebSailor,
I got the answer here... Re: How do I mark my question "correct" or "helpful"?
Thanks ProMaxed. That makes sense to me.

Only the OP (the Original Poster = the person who started the thread) can mark a message as Correct or Helpful, and thus award points. All others who particpate in a thread can only say "thank you" as a means of rewarding the person who gave a solution.
If you're the OP, you should see linkboxes at the bottom of each reply (including your own) like these -
- click the proper one to both tag that message appropriately and to award the associated points to the author of the message.
Note - if the OP annoints one of their own messages as Correct or Helpful, the message will be tagged accordingly, but no points will be awarded (you can't boost your own point count).
Hi,
Just extending Don's reply: You can only give out 2 helpful answers and one correct answer. Helpful answers give 5 points to the poster whose post was marked as helpful, and correct answers award the poster 10 points.

Paragraph 4.2.2 of the Apple Support Communities Terms of Use, to which you agreed when you became a member of Apple Support Communities, states -
Do not ask for points. If you feel the system is not clear to users, please provide feedback to Apple; do not instruct other users unless they ask.
sorry i'm super new
I couldn't understand why I didn't see an option to give points—but I'm not the OP. Thanks, Don, for unraveling this.
I hope you gave Don points for his answer - Lol 😁
