I'm a student and just got a ipad 1 and a iphone 4 and i wonder if i could use them for schoolwork or something like that.
What are the best apps for me? i mean apps i can use for school etc.

iPad
One general one to look at is Evernote- it's a cloud-based, note taking app that you can use on almost any platform, including the iPad. There is a free and a premium version that has more capabilities.
You'll have to tell us more - what level of education are you studying at, what is your field of study, what are your needs? There is a wide range of apps that can be used in school, but you need to explain what YOU want to get out of it and what you are looking for.

it is also indeed difficult to suggest different apps if we don't know your preferences or what you are following and such..
