how do i point to the Unix category?

All I can do is point to OS X Technologies forum/discussion/community or whatever these are called, but can't direct anyone straight to the Unix or AppleScript category. This needs fixing or some direction on how to do this.

27" iMac i7 12 GB RAM, Mac OS X (10.6.7), G4 450 MP GB 1.5 GB RAM w/(10.5.8/10.4.11/9.2.2)

Hi baltwo- this is like the blind leading the blind. You have to click on the category box:

Where did get that 1048 from, whatever I click on or hover over, the only URL I see is the one ending in 'technologies'?

Of coarse I am experimenting with the interface trying to get a command of the features and functionality. Not trying to make you work for it !

I'm off doing other stuff, so can't delve deeper, but thanks for replying. Very straightforward and intuitive, isn't it.

Your link above is already the filtered link.

Click the hidden picture reference above for a peek.

And look you have a blue background and your Products listed !!! I am envious.

I copied your link, dropping everything after Technologies, but apparently the editor capture your original. Anyway, went back and now see that the rest was partially hidden in the URL window. So thanks for that. AFAIK, if you select the advanced editor, you get to add the product line and apparently that also results in the blue background.

Move over to the Content or Discussions tab.

Thanks, so it seems that whenever you want to restore sanity, you simply have to do one more click on the Discussions button (same issue when being in 'Your Stuff', you see more of your posts if you click on Discussions). It feels like the new UI almost everywhere added at least one more, at the moment completely superfluous, layer.

The blue background is because you are the original poster in the topic. (now where do I pick up my prize?)

John Maisey- Your check is in the mail.

And thanks I was going nuts trying to decipher that one.

I too like the alternating color scheme of the old- much easier to breeze through with the visual reference.

At least you can see my OS and machine spec's below. Yipee- thanks baltwo!
