Import an iOS GarageBand Project to the Mac
How do I import a Project created on iPad to GarageBand for the Mac by using iTunes?
Should I even use iTunes, or is there a way to just import via GarageBand for the Mac?
Who knows the answer..

Connect the iPad to the Mac, and go to the iPad, then Applications tab. Scroll all the way down, to where it shows the applications that are available to share files. Click on GB. On the right-hand side will be the projects you've done on the iPad. From there, Save As to where you'd like it, then open that from within GB '11. It will require an automated download of some files, then it'll just open. The download is over 100MB IIRC, and is not the same download as the Software Update GB update from a couple weeks ago.
Hi daghereverything,
When I did it I needed to go into Garageband on the iPad, go to 'My Songs' and click the right-pointing icon at the bottom of the screeen and select "Send to iTunes". Otherwise it did not appear in iTunes as described by polaris20 above.
Best wishes

Oops, correct. You need to Send to iTunes as a GB project file, and THEN it will appear when you follow what I wrote. Sorry about that.
