I was playing with accessibility and the screen went black. Now I have the screen back after shaking it, but it is telling me to enter my passcode, yet when I press the number pad, no numbers transfer to the 4 boxes in the passcode area. So the ipod remains locked. Can anyone help?

Hi Jim - Thanks for your reply. I finally figured it out!. First I had to touch the first of the four passcode numbers, once. Then I had to double tap the first number again. Second number once, pause, then double tap second number twice. Repeat for third and fourth numbers. Voila! Finally! Then I was able to go to settings and turn off voice. phew.
Try resetting the iPod. Press the Home button and the On/Off buttons at the same time and hold until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
Password number pad doesn't work.
