How do I save a draft in the new 'community'?

How do I save a draft in the new 'community'?

In the old post/reply editor of the Apple discussions, there were 3 buttons, one of which seems to be missing now. "Save Draft" was something I used all the time.

For instance, as I typed in a response to 1 poster, I wanted to remember details from a different post, which was not (and is not in the new "community") displayed while composing. So, I would "Save draft", but the back button, read what I wanted, hit the "forward" button, and then "use saved draft".

Anyone know where this function went?

Alternately, anyone know how to give Apple feedback on this new website?

There is no way to save a draft, as far as I can tell. I do not know of a way to provide feedback. You could try adding your comments to one of the numerous threads regarding the new design.

appears to be the appropriate site for all things Discussions.....

P.S. May just use that myself. I've had to re-compose 4 answers so far because I accidentally let the trackpad slide somewhere where it shouldn't have been and lost my masterpieces.

And while this doesn't replace the functionality of being able to save a copy of the draft what I do, if I'm in a post and need to access more of the thread or another post is to duplicate the tab I'm editing in and then use the new tab to find the information I need and then go back to the original tab to finish editing.

Ahh, better do a command + C before going to another tab just to be safe. I've started doing that because - inexplicably - once I returned to the post, it was empty and no amount of "Undo" would bring it back......
