I have tried a number of alternatives over the years and I don't reckon you can beat the Apogee Jam released this year. It works well for me (a Strat player). It's a little bit pricy but head and shoulders above the alternatives in terms of tonal detail.
The Apogee ONE will also do the trick if you are considering a general purpose interface that can supply phantom power for a condenser mic (a good way to record an acoustic guitar). IMO if you've got an MBA then you don't want to compromise with the cheaper stuff.
