Kernel Panic while iphone USB tethering

Hi,

I found out that New Gen MacBook Pros which Have a default 64bit kernel as a boot option continuously crashes while tethering via usb, possibly any machine that runs on 64 kernel has a similar issue.

I have rebooted with 32bit kernel and tethering works fine. I assume that there is a driver conflict that cause kernel panic on 64bit mode.

Have you been facing similar issue?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.7)
