Well, I thought I had this problem licked....nope.
I started by taking your suggestion of going into Safe Mode. I unplugged all the USB's (3 of time) and started to put them back in one at a time. I would put one in and restart my computer and wait about 15 minutes. If everything was fine after that I would plug in another USB. When I got to the third one which is my Epson printer, the problem started again. So naturally I thought it was my printer.
I went to the Epson website and downloaded their latest drivers and all last night there was no problem with my keyboard. It worked great. I thought the problem was fixed.
When I tried my computer this morning, the same problem started again. Frustration.
So, I figured it was my printer again and I just unplugged it and rebooted and started to use my computer. After about 5 minutes the keyboard stopped working.
I haven't tried the install DVD. If I do that do I have to install all my programs again and reinstall the latest OS and all my programs?
If that's the case I don't think I want to do that.
I called a local Apple store and asked about their return policy if I buy a new keyboard and they said 14 days for a refund. So if the DVD install isn't easy I'll try a new keyboard.
Thanks
