I haven't been here in a few months. For years in was my regular stop 4-5 times a day. Is it me or is the new forum very confusing and a real hassle to navigate? I mean it was a real pain just to post this!

There were sub categorize such as GB for iPAD. Now it's all chunked into one.

And as is usual in the world someone got paid to make things more difficult, more confusing, and far less convenient.
I agree. Worst of all: most of the existing links to iPad GarageBand posts are now broken. đ
The old format seemed fine. Just needed a little tweaking, like letting people post their own avatar. All in all it seemed much easier to delineate the different versions of GB. Correct me if I'm wrong but now it seems as if everything is clumped together and it's not that apparent how to get back to the threads in action.
It looks pretty now but I agree, loosing the sub categories made no sense.
I can't find the set of rules that I had to agree to before being let into this new forum, but I am sure that this type of discussion is not allowed. đ

Doesn't matter if it's allowed or not! No one from Apple ever came around before! And now it's unlikely they will be able to navigate this far down the thread!

As soon as it changed, there was an option to participate in a survey, in which I wrote that this change is stupid and unnecessary. All for naught, though - as I don't believe anyone at Apple ever even reads their own surveys.
It really was pretty good before! Usually people are against change because it's change and it makes them uncomfortable but the old system was quick and easy. You could see everything on one page from GB1 on up and then click on the proper forum to enter. The only thing I did not like in the older system was the search functions. I found it to be clumsy and tedious.
If Apple does get around to seeing everyone gripes ( and I'm sure there are many in the other forums also) people shouldn't be penalized. They should take it as constructive criticism.
Does any know what the difference is between the Discussions Tab and the All Content Tab? Apart from one shows which threads you have viewed and which ones have been updated. Is it a double up for nothing?
