Macbook 5,2 white is working with 8gb - great

I added 2 x 4gb Sodimm DDr2 800mhz memory and it is working !

In fact, i witnessed my macbook used to call Virtual memory more often than before with snow leopard. I discovered Kernel and applications used to take more space than before. All of that has been fixed with 8gb for sure.

brilor, check to make sure you don't need a firmware update (which Apple has probably sent you already). I doubt that's the issue, though; my 2009 MacBook5,2 came from Apple with 800 MHz RAM installed. It was 2x1 GB, so I'm kind of drowning running Lion right now, but it's definitely capable of running the faster speed.
