Jan 24, 2012 6:36 PM in response to brilorby macmikey,brilor, check to make sure you don't need a firmware update (which Apple has probably sent you already). I doubt that's the issue, though; my 2009 MacBook5,2 came from Apple with 800 MHz RAM installed. It was 2x1 GB, so I'm kind of drowning running Lion right now, but it's definitely capable of running the faster speed.
