4.3.2 bug: sorting in ipod app with Hebrew

When Hebrew is the selected language for the iPhone, all songs, artists etc. are scrambled (For example: "Pearl Jam" is not under "P", but under the Hebrew letter "ע". Hebrew names are not sorted either, with names randomly starting with English letters).

When English is selected, Hebrew names are sorted as numbers, while English names are OK. This wasn't a problem on 4.3.1 and before.

problem occurs to anyone i know who've updated.

iPhone 4, iOS 4.3.2, GSM 32mb sim-free

Same problem here too. Sorting is alright in English and Chinese, but not Japanese. It seems like not working for languages that sort with language-specific characters. (Chinese uses the alphabets too, so no problem)

Same problem with Greek language. All greek titles are sorted using the English alphabet and then English titles are sorted in an odd way.

There is also same problem in Chinese. The following picture is from my iPhone (iOS 4.3.2).

Maybe I(or we) need to wait for the next update from Apple?

There is no fix as of now. It will have to come from Apple on the next release. I've tried submitting the bug to Apple, but currently there's a problem with their bugreporter website.

I don't think 4.3.2 was released to developers before launch. That's the reason for the poor QA.

Normally only developers can officially report bugs to Apple. You can though ring AppleCare Technical Support in your country and report it..... to find your local number have a look at; http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57
