How do you remove and clean the back side of a protective screen cover on an IPad?

I have a IPad that has a protective clear screen protector on it. I remove it because the screen was not properly mounted on the IPad. When I put it back on the IPad there were a number of lint spots on the screen that made viewing uncomfortable. How do I clean the side of this cover that adhere to the IPad it self? The screen protector I'm using feels like there is some type of adhesive material on it that the lint has attached itself to. Thank you in advance for your help in this matter.

This is the best way I have found. Use sticky tape applied on the top of the screen protector, life up on the tape which will lifet up the protector. Then use another (longer) piece of sticky tape to pull out the piece of lint.

Hi Bill,

no problem, when I can help. screen protectors are really quite expensive, so I oysters really important to get it positioned perfectly with all the dust and lint gone. I apply all my screen protectors on my 'idevices' with sellotape and have never had a problem. Good luck!
