Where do my ipad downloaded movies go

Tap on the Videos App icon. They will be in there.

Did they totally download? Launch iTunes on your iPad. Tap on Downloads in the lower right corner. Are they still downloading?

What purchased section? Do you mean in iTunes on your computer?

I am having the same problem. I have downloaded 2 movies using itunes they were in progress in my downloads and then disappeared. I went into the videos section and they are not in there. I went back to itunes and when i click downloads it says go to purchased which when i do it takes me to a blank player

If they are not in the Videos app try this first.

Try going to the iPod App and look in the list on the left side under Library. See if there is a heading - Purchased on....

And see if they show up there. If so, tap on one to start the video, let it play for a few minutes and then tap Done in the upper left corner. Go to the Video App and see if they are in there now.

If they still don't appear - restart - hold down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. Then press the sleep button and hold until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. Then look in the Videos App.

Thanks Demo, i tried it all & still no luck! it's so aggrivating. I dont want to redownload them because most likely i will get charged again. any other ideas?

I assume you mean you went to the iTunes Store on the iPad - tapped on downloads - and got this message. Did you try looking for the purchase in iTunes on your computer? You can log into your iTunes account on the computer and view your purchase history.

When you say the downloads disappeared ... Can you describe that a little further?

your assumption is correct, itunes on the Ipad. I am traveling so i do not have a laptop with me.

... and in terms of disappearing, while pending it was possible to view the download progress by clicking the download button. last i looked it was at about 50% then when i went back to check it it was gone and the only button in that area was the "purchased" button which took me into the ipod player which is music only. So i then went into videos and that was blank too.

I wish I had more to offer but all I can suggest is contact iTunes.

I wonder now if the original download did complete. That's why I asked if you could check on your computer.

I thought I lost my movies too but this is what you need to do. Plug your ipad into your computer. When you log into itunes click on purchased on the left hand side. Find the movies you bought and click on them. Now click on whatever name you named your ipad (somewhere under puchased). Once you click on your ipad you will see across the top something like songs, movies, tv, photos, books. Click on movies and then make sure you click the movies you want to download to your ipad. Hit sync and it should work. Once you hit sync I believe the revert and apply button come on. I hit apply when the sync is finished. I am sure you know this but I messed up a few times. You cannot access your ipad while it is syncing or you will cancel the sync. Good luck. If it doesn't work or this is confusing just let me know and I will walk you throught it again.

Movies and Music Videos that you have stored on your iPad will appear in the "Videos" Application. When you lauch this app, you'll see a "Movies" and a "Music Videos" tab. Hope this helps. All the best...
