What does error message Appname:itunes.exeAppver.10.1.0.56 mean? I get it when trying to sync my device under app heading.

That is basically saying that it's iTunes version 10.1.0.56 that is having an error.
Are you also seeing a ModVer and a ModName? If so, what are they? (Precise spelling please.) With any luck, they will give us some more insight into what's causing the iTunes error.
