"Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services" when updating iTunes. (Bonjour)

iTunes asked me if I wanted to update to the new version. (10.2.2 I believe) -- so I did. Now it won't install. Something keeps popping up regarding bonjour and how "Bonjour service" couldn't be installed for some reason. I've wiped my computer of Apple products, even going so far as to dip into the registry and delete instances of Bonjour manually. (I deleted all the Program Files folders too, in both the regular and (x86)).

Now I can't install iTunes.

What is going on?

I've been getting the Bonjour administrative permissions error ever since iTunes 9, and since then I've had to unistall iTunes, QuickTime, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Support, Bonjour, and MobileMe Control Panel, just to name a few. It takes forever to update iTunes. I'm convinced Apple wants Microsoft users to pay for their insolence. Bonjouur has verious components that can't be changedwithout a reboot so there doesn't seemto be any other way to get a clean install. I hope someone will prove me wrong and show me a better way.
