Are people marking a post correct answer, or helpful? Or is it system generated. I've givem some answers that were at least helpful, but don't see them marked. I did have one that was a correct answer and the person who started the thread gave me correct and helpful? another thread where I answered seemed to show as correct, but I got no wpoints. Upon returning to that thread I can't see anyone who was marked wiht the correct answer. Curious.

Regards,

Joseph

Hi,  The correct/helpful answers you see are not computer generated.  The Original Poster is the only one who can mark replies as helpful or correct.   Hope this helps!   ---likeabird---

I believe the person who opened the thread has to tag answers as helpful or correct. I'm afraid people just don't do so. You could set an example by doing that now . Matthias

Just be careful - it is against the ToU to ask that your replies be marked as helpful or correct. See section 4.2.2 at  https://discussions.apple.com/___sbsstatic___/apple/tutorial/tou.html
