Tricky situation

Hi guys, i am in a kinda tricky situation. I am from Russia, but now i live in Syria (i work in a russian embassy). I am looking forward to buying an Ipad 2 WifI+3g but now they aren't sold legally neither in Russia or Syria. My friend told me that Ipads 2 are being sold in Arab Emirates for a reasonable price. What would you advice me to do: wait till they arrive to Russia or buy Ipad 2 in Emirates. I ask that because i want to be sure that my Ipad works in Russia and Syria.(working 3g and downloadable content in Itunes and Appstore. Is there any big difference in Ipad 2 made for Us market and ipad 2 made for other countries. If yes, than how can get to know for what market it is done, holding Ipad2 box in my hands? Thanks in advance. P.S. Excuse me for my English)

If you get an iPad 2 with 3G, make sure you get the AT&T version because it has a replaceable micro-sim card and is GSM compatible.

The iPad's can all connect to WiFi networks, as long as the networks comply with IEEE-802-11 standards.

The power supply are 110-220 volt and may need a plug adaptor for the wall outlet.

PS Your English is a lot better than my Russian. 🙂

First Ipad is sold by authorised apple dealer in Russia, so i think using Appstore won't be a problem.

That IS a problem for me to use appstore on my Iphone in Syria, so i always have to find a way to download apps) connecting to Wi-Fi i set some Us or other proxys in wi-fi settings so sometimes that works))

I have another question: in June I am going to Moscow for a couple of weeks. If I buy some apps there (Appstore works in russia) and then go back to syria, will i be able to update my Ipad without loosing purchased apps when connecting to my PC (Appstore doesn't work in syria)
