My postcard layout overlaps edge of card. How can I trim/crop it away?

My postcard layout design causes some items to overlap the edge of card. (5-1/2"X4-1/4") On screen this is OK, as Pages visually "trims" the extra, and I get a clean border. But since it is really still there, when I try to line up my layouts on an Avery 8387 postcard template, what is outside the border becomes a problem. I've revised my design to minimize what extends beyond the postcard borders, but some has to remain. How can I trim/crop the extra away?

SP,

The first thing that comes to mind is to mask the card area with a Shape. Try this:

Insert > Shape > Rectangle.

Open Graphic Inspector. Set Fill to None. Set Stroke to 30 points and Stroke Color to White.

Now size and position so that the Shape forms a frame around your content. You may want to increase of decrease the Stroke weight to adjust the mask area.

Let me know if that works for you.
