Question: How can I get Flash on iPad?
The correct, neutral, answer is. You cannot as there is no version of Flash for iOS. However, there are some apps available in the App Store that will allow you to access some Flash content.
Any answer other than that is purely for the puposes of futhering ones own agenda, not helping the poor person who originally posted the question.
Are any of these apps to take the place of Flash for iOS, free? Or is it just another way for Apple to rake up some more money?
Wait, there are apps that allow you to access Flash content? Does he/she mean CNN and news apps or apps that actually play Flash? If so, I want to download some. Although I would hate to have Flash installed on my iPod Touch, it would be nice to be able to play SWFs or FLVs.
Deleted post. I wanted to try a quote in a quote in a quote......in a quote.......
And it ended up taking an entire page 😁
The iTunes store including the app store is set up as a break even for Apple.
In regard to paid apps, 3rd party app developers decide what to charge for their apps.
The only use for Flash is not games. I bought an iPad so that I could do my homework from anywhere on something more convienent than my laptop. In order to do this I need flash. Because that is what the majority of what people are using right now, it is the only thing that they offer it on.
That's not a real excuse for Apple to put Flash on iOS. They tend to refuse bad standards for their own better ones. For example, they don't support USB 3.0 (in favor of Thunderbolt).

The link will stop for the specific message or discussion group you are viewing.
Sounds like you may have it on for a few messages/groups.
At top right if this page, click on Your Stuff > Notifications and uncheck everything.
I found the way to stop the influx of annoying emails having to do with this topic, was to go to My Stuff > Profile > Manage email notifications and checked the button of the topic I didn't want emails from.
Ahhhhhh . . . at last!! The sweet sound of peace and quiet! 🙂

Why ask the question using third person narrative, instead of directing to me? No, she does not mean CNN and news apps or apps that actually play Flash. Why make the question more complicated than what it was? The intent of my question was to ask if there WAS an application to REPLACE the Flash application or that can be used in place of Flash. Sorry, I can't make my question any clearer than that.
Meg St.Clair wrote that there are apps that give flash content...
I presume Meg was referring to browsers like Skyfire.

Under "My Stuff" I still get updates for this. ugh
If it helps anyone, tried iswifter last night. Was faintly shocked that it loaded flash as easily as it did.
That said, it was grainy and, stupidly, works only with wifi.

Not interested, if it's as you say, 'looks grainy, stupidly and works only with wifi.' That sounds like it's more trouble than it's worth.

I don't get anything, now, but the thing that was driving me crazy was the "new mail" sound :::::ding, ding, ding:::::: That's why I had to find it and kill it! 😝
That's really too bad. With today's report of slow sales of the iPad, this is not helping things.
I really like the ipad ad on TV. I especially like the one of the apps (Piano). I know, not a reason to buy one. What is holding me back is no support for Flash, If they did support it, I would have had an iPad 2 the day they came out!
But alas, I will probably buy an Android compatible pad...

There are no reports of slow iPad sales. There are "predictions" of lower than previously "predicted" iPad sales but they are meaningless.
Just people trying to manipulate the market and make some money.

So you have known since before they were released, they would not support Flash?
And likely you would NOT have gotten one the day they came out (even if you wanted one) because there were not a lot about.
