<blahblahblah> ....... yet, the difference is that my opinion is based on fact, and yours is based on what your overload <sp> Apple has told you your opinion is.
Most of what you report as fact is hardly that, and it's clear (to me at leas) that you really don't understand very much about what you continue to insist that you know.
Another difference that I've noticed is that your posts are humorless and gratuitously insulting, something not observed in most of those still bothering to respond to your endless whining.
True, Adobe has ceased development for all mobile devices.
And , by not using flash, Apple has promoted a more stable, closed ecosystem for its web browsing experience
However, to be fair on both sides, although development of flash is no longer in place, keep in mind that it will take some time for the internet to make the shift from flash to newer, better open webstandards. This means that flash will still linger for ( in my mind at least) 2-3 year at the minimum.
This, I must agree, might seem like a problem for some people. However, many flashed based sites have App store apps that stream video and audio for the iPhone/iPad. In case someone doesn't know, iOS has the most apps in the app store 😝
But, I do see that the argumentation back and forth concerning Apple's motives are not going anywhere, and not useful at all.

iOS has the most apps in the App store?
Since the ONLY apps in the App store are for iOS, I agree.
I, like many, if not most, people don't care what is better or worse. All the fanboys and haters make me sigh with disgust.
The bottom line is that it ***** hard when a game, video, site or any portion of anything will not run on my iPhone or iPad!!! I can't even look at images of cashed checks from my bank.
I like apples mobile devices but wonder WHY I do, every time I am left in the cold with content I am not allowed to view by the apple Gestapo. Call me what you will but it seems almost everything I want to do with my iPad on the web is denied by no flash player.
I wanted a new iPad but now find it hard to justify. If non-iOS gadgets had a debilitating flaw like not being able to view or use many things on the web apple fanboys would relentlessly flog them with it.
I have never even used a tablet that wasn't an iPad but it most likely is MY future because I am sick of being limited, whatever the reason.
Flash development is ceasing on all mobile devices
As of yesterday some 60 million new or returning iOS users don't seem to have a problem. And by the way, don't threaten to buy something else. Do it and report back how much more satisified you are with the latest failed tablet that runs Flash. There are dozens to choose from so you shouldn't have any problem reaching Flash nirvana. And you should have no trouble buying one because nobody else. As of yesterday Apple has 96% of the tablet market.

You'll want to make sure you only get a tablet that runs full desktop Windows, since Adobe will no longer be making Flash for any mobile devices and so you will soon feel limited and denied everywhere...on all brands. Including Android, RIM, WebOS, etc. There will be no Flash on any mobile OSs.
The reason you must get a full Windows tablet is because Microsoft is also banning all plug-ins in Windows 8 Mobile, which means no Flash on Windows 8 Mobile tablets even if Adobe hadn't quit themselves. As a side effect of this, Microsoft Silverlight is also banned from Windows 8 Mobile. That's right, Microsoft is banning both Flash and their own Flash competitor from Microsoft's own mobile devices.
So good luck...what you want isn't going to be easy to find soon.
I just want flash player to work on my iPad so I can actually do my math homework, which was the purpose of me making this purchase and I've only had it for two days I very dissapointed.

So take it back and get something that actually fits your needs. Next time try doing some homework before making this sort of a purchase, as the fact that iOS devices don't play with Flash has been out there for ... well, it seems forever now.
People say that Flash is so necessary, but I don't get why. I can't remember the last time I used it (besides on Youtube and Ameritrade, which have great iOS apps designed for mobile devices).
"iPad killers" boast about having Flash, saying that 98% of the top 100 sites use it or something... it's true, but those sites use it for only the ads.

And probably 75% of those top 100 Flash sites also have content in html5.
Wait.... you mean the iPad doesn't do Flash. When did this happen? 😉
So will any of the games on Facebook work like Farmville and The Sims Social?
It is interesting when you read the Steve Jobs biography. He was all about wanting total control over the device he sold as a whole. He of course was highly successful and will be missed.
I would have liked some legacy support for Flash for a few years on the iPad until (in theory) Flash goes away.
Jim
You'd best ask Adobe to supply some legacy support then. It's not up to Apple.
Actually, Apple is the one that decided to not allow Flash on it's devices. I'm sure Adobe would love to supply a solution considering the sheer quantity of Apple devices out there. There are a couple of work around products that look okay.
