wow, this has all gotten so long winded. how about we all agree that flash can make things look cool, but clog up system resources. I vote that everyone who loves flash go out and download wallaby from adobe labs. It's free and converts the .fla to HTML5. There, now everyone is happy.
Can you imagine how many trillions of electrons were killed in the making/existence of this thread?
Look at the bright side. The Apple Company changed it's position. All IOS devices now support Flash and the whiners will stop whining!
I went and bought an asus tablet, ill nerver buy another iPad again.
The flash works flawless on it and i can use my purshased product as i want and not as Apple that decides how i should use there product.
So very thoughtful of you to join the forums today to let us know.

I'm so happy for you.
Yes i know im a thoughtful guy.
Atleast ive expressed my frustration.
And your doing so is a valuable contribution to this tech support forum for iPad users.
I can tell by your typing, you must be using it now!
I just bought an Acer Wutang 9000 running ICS. Pretty sweet. It has Microsoft Internet Explorer with Flash, Silverlight, and JavaFX plugins, and an AMOLED display. Stunning. I threw my iPad 2 in the garbage. I make so much money, I can afford to do that. I make four times as much as you, and had brunch with your "boss" (blue collar lingo is in in the corp world these days... You can thank Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy for that...)
Anyway, I gots me some Railin' to git done. So I'm a gonna get 'er done!

But the spell checker doesn't work
This thread is giving me a brain tumor.
By heavy lifting I mean it is able to do real world stuff, not just entertainment. For example: Everything is drag and drop as far as connecting the Thrive to a computer both PC and Mac. No more time lost having everything go through iTunes. You can copy and paste to and from flash drives. I hooked my 350 gig external hard drive to the USB and it took a few minutes to load but it did.
It plays most video files that I have come across either natively or through an app. It plays flash. No more converting my Polaroid camera’s avi files, it handles them well. So far cameras hook up nicely as they do on a computer.
Both Apple and Toshiba offer a keyboard for $69, but last night I hooked up a cheap Logitech and it worked.
The Thrive is something I take to work because a lot of times I am in the middle of nowhere. Say someone on the team thinks we should take a look at something. The video cameras have such small screens that it is hard to show why we should take a look. Plug the camera into the Thrive and the picture or video is big enough to see and make a decision. It saves us time having to go back to base camp to plug it into a laptop. Also, if I run out of juice, I just pop another battery in.
The iPad can’t do most of the above and if it does, it costs you. Is the iPad worthless? No. Just expensive. I paid $750 for my iPad and paid $580 for the Thrive. It is a 32 Gig 4-G and it is worth it.

That's nice for you but how does it address any iPad technical support question?
It doesn't. I am just replying to a request for the information.
You must be kidding! Nothing in here has been on topic! I haven't seen anything in here but derogatory and rude insulting comments and suddenly there is concern in technical support? That's a joke! I'm glad you like your Thrive and thanks for sharing. I personally bored with my iPad! Actually walking into Best Buy to look at Prime!
