Take my Apple TV2 on vacation?

I am renting a house next month which has Wi-fi. Is there any reason why I can't take my Apple TV with me and use it on the network while I'm on vacation. All I want to do is watch movies via Airplay that have been stored on my iPhone and iPad.

Just make sure the tv has HDMI.

Check the rental home has the internet as well as wifi, protected content will want to authorise itself before it will play.
