How do I stop my iPad from talking?
My son was tapping the screen and now it won't stop talking. Ugh! How do I turn it off. I can't find it in the settings.

Hi BS1956. Please describe your specific problem so someone can try to help you.
What model iPad do you have? What iOS version?
If you're not experiencing VoiceOver, take a look at the options for Settings > Accessibility > Speech. See if any of them seem to fit.
Settings > General > Accessibilty > VoiceOver > Off.
VoiceOver changes the gestures you use to control iPad. Once you turn VoiceOver on, you must use VoiceOver gestures to operate iPad—even to turn VoiceOver off again and resume standard operation.
An easier way is to connect your iPad to iTunes on your computer. Go to the Summary pane and click the "Configure Universal Access..." button. On the next screen, select "Neither" under Seeing and click "OK".

Make a new topic ronny instead of posting in a another thread on someone elses issue, and no you can't

Hi. If you have a question, please post a new question. Describe exactly what you're trying to do, and what does or doesn't work. Be sure to identify your device and iOS version.
Actually the real easier way is to just tap the Home button 3x quickly. This toggles this annoying feature off and on with audio confirmation.
That assumes that's what you have a triple-click set to via Settings > General > Accessibility
Didn’t work
