I am using MS laser keyboard 6000 v2 on XP partition with latest mouse/keyboard with latest mouse/keyboard software. I cannot find a key on this keyboard that will open/close CD tray. How do assign a key on the MS keyboard to do this?

Hi,

I don't have that keyboard but on my MS Wireless keyboard I have Media key that does that.

It also came with software that installed a System Preferences pane.

I have more control there of assigning keys and stuff. (Although MS do insists a second window opens up - very non System Preferences)

Hi,

I use an MS Wireless keyboard with my Mac (G4 listed below)

I have not tried it on my MacBook Pro and Bootcamp (Also XP)

So I was talking about the Mac's System Preferences.

I have not looked in XP to see if there is something similar but I am sure there is. (Or yuou may have to Install any Keyboard Software into XP)

Hi again,

I used two different methds to insert the pics.

The First provides a Link to my Skitch account at the pic involved.

The second if clicked will open the pic in an iFrame to save Scrolling left and right.
