The Belkin adapter that the first respondent linked to is an ADC to DVI adapter and is not what you're looking for.

You need a DVI to ADC adapter like this one:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00011KHT2/ref=asc_df_B00011KHT21509520?smid=A2XGFHB09Z ZLWN&tag=nextagusmp0350883-20&linkCode=asn&creative=395105&creativeASIN=B00011KH T2

Mac computers with ADC video cards provided video signal, power and USB for ADC monitors through the ADC port on the video card. The DVI port on your G5 only provides a video signal. Power for the ADC monitor and the USB ports on it must be supplied externally from the power brick on the DVI to ADC adapter which then must be plugged into the mains.

I don't think Apple makes the DVI to ADC adapter anymore, and used ones on eBay and other places tend to be outrageously expensive. You might be better off using the money you spend on the adapter to buy a good DVI monitor. Your call…
