Default Size and Show Speed of the Dock?

Hi. The Size slider on the Dock's setting does not have tickmarks or a value for you to bring it back to it's default factory size. How do you restore the factory size of the dock (using terminal perhaps?)? How do you speed the the Show speed (it's set to hide) of the Dock to make it show more quickly using Terminal?
