Does keynote 09 export to power point 2003?

I recently purchased keynote 09 from the Mac app store. I made a presentation for one of my classes but it wouldn't work with my teacher's version of power point. I exported to power point. I just wouldn't seem to work. Please help me! It would suck if I couldn't use the app I just paid $20 for.

I can not test with PP 2003 as I have 2004, but I have no problems open my exported Keynote in PP 2004. So far all I have heard about is people trying to open an exported Keynote in the newest version of PP. Was your teacher able to open the file and it just didn't look right, or could your teacher not even open the file at all?
