my installer app is missing
how do i a re-install my installer app?
MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.7)

i guess its called installer.app
i dont know what i did but my installer.app is missing. i cant install anything and i dont have my snow leopard disc for my OS 10.6.7. i somehow lost the cd after moving 2 times in 1yr.
this is the installer.app in the utility folder

There is no Installer application in the Utilities folder. Not in 10.6.7.
Which application/s are you having trouble installing and what are the symptoms?
The Installer app was moved by Apple to System/Library/Core Services. It is still on your drive and you can make an alias and keep the alias in Utilities so as not to have top access it in the Core Services folder.
I have the same issue. Installer.app is missing. I can't install new apps. Any ideas?
