Hi I have the iBook g3 500mhz 384mb sdram bus speed 67mhz and a combo drive it's not the clamshell its the White 12inch one. It's a fast wee laptop and I hope I can get it running on leopard thinks!

You need a G4 (867 MHz or faster) processor. Leopard doesn't support the G3. See
If you updated your hardware to a computer that meets the minimum requirements for Leopard, yes. You cannot upgrade the G3 processor to meet the requirements.
