I am getting this screen whenever I connect my Iphone to my Mac. When I open up Iphoto with or without a phone connected, this shows up.
Photos in the Camera Roll on "Iphone 4" cannot be viewed or imported because the iPhone is locked with a passcode.
Something is wrong with my Iphoto, how do I fix it?

That's a phone problem not an iPhoto one. You need to use the iPhone forum.

I have checked the phone and do not have a passcode placed on the phone.
I am also trying to access Iphoto without an Iphone and Iphoto seems to think that I still have a phone connected and states the warning when I don't even have it plugged in.
As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

That doesn't fix the problem. I have tried creating a new library and everything. Only way I got it to work was to plug in into a different USB port and it connected the Iphone to Iphoto and everything sync'd.
How do I get rid of the Iphone mount copy? Every time I open Iphoto, I have to unmount it. Is there a different way to unmount this phantom phone?
That wasn't meant to fis the problem. That's why the first line says
"As a Test"
It would tell us if the issue was local to a library, or part of a wider problem.
Try trash the following file
com.apple.ImageCaptureNotifications.DeviceDiscoveryDatabase.501
from HD/Library/ Caches
and restart your mac.
This is definitely an iPhoto problem, I get the same thing.
However, for me it is with iPhoto '11 and iOS5. My phone shows up in iPhoto via wireless sync, and reports the error. If I plug it in, it syncs no problem via USB. I just did a COMPLETE refresh of my phone for another issue, so this is a clean, fresh install of iOS5.
Entirely different issue. This thread is from last April, long before iOS5, v9.2, wireless syncing etc. You have an wireless syncing, right?

Rather than re-open a 5 year old thread create a new one and include the OS on your phone, the OS on your Mac, what app you're using for photos on the Mac and how you're trying to do this.
