Apr 24, 2011 8:18 PM in response to nick adrianby Dah•veed,★HelpfulThis Apple dicument explains syncing your iPad with your Mac. However if you read it carefully there are restrictions and limitations. One thing is that, according to this document, nothing that you moved onto your iPad from your Windows PC can be synced back to your Mac.

Sep 17, 2016 2:28 AM in response to nick adrianby Neurologist,i was worried about transferring the apps i use from iPad to mac, and this is what i found out...
I tried to do the way it says above, but it didn't help. But while doing that I found a new and easier way to get all your purchases in mac iTunes... so, that when we sync the device to a new iTunes, the apps don't get erased.
All these steps are for iTunes 12....
1. open iTunes and then select apps in the left side to iTunes.
2. go to store.
3. wait for the store to open and then on the right side, you will find your id. there must be options like, redeem , purchased (PURCHASED). click there and it will show all the apps you have purchased through that id.
4. on the bottom of that page, there must be DOWNLOAD ALL option. C lick that and thats it.
5. now, if you wish to download music, just change the option from apps to music, then store, then purchased and download all.
Hope it helps!!
Although, I WOULD STILL LIKE TO FIND AN EASIER WAY TO TRANSFER ALL THE DATA FROM IPAD TO MAC WHEN WE BUY A NEW MAC AND CONNECT IT WITH IP[AD WITH DADTA. BECAUSE AS SOON AS I CONNECT IPAD AND SYNC IT WITH ITUNES, IT DELETS ALL THE DATD AND .......

Sep 17, 2016 2:36 AM in response to Neurologistby King_Penguin,There is this user-tip for syncing to a new computer : Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard Drive
Some of the steps on that page are slightly different now (it was written for a previous version of iTunes) :-
- 5, File > Devices > Transfer Purchases (apps won't copy back from an iOS 9+ device)
- 6, Reset Warnings is done via the bottom of the device's Summary tab in iTunes
- 7, File > Devices > Back Up (or Back Up Now on the device's Summary tab)
- 8, File > Devices > Restore From Backup (or Restore Backup on the device's Summary tab)
