Hi, I am new to the discussions, and I was wondering I just upgraded my internal HDD from the standard 250GB (5400) to 750GB (7200). It runs better and I have not had any issues, but my question is if something were to go wrong with the mac and I had taken it into an Apple store to get it looked at would they be willing to fix it or is it a lost caused?

Only Apple can answer that for sure. I suspect they would look at it to the point it was definitely not HD related. If there was a question about that, you might need to put the old HD back in. I'd certainly keep it. Are you still covered under AppleCare?

Ok right on, I will contact them if I have any issues. My Apple Care expires on the 27th of next month.
If you have an issue requiring warranty repair, the only way the HD replacement should come into play is if there are any issues/damages related to its installation/removal by you.
