How do I reset Safari to factory setup

I forgot my password when I launched Safari on my iPod Touch, so I selected the I Forgot My Password page and filled out all of the security info and was successful in resetting my password. I am still on the I Forgot My Password page and see no button to exit out, so I push the button on the bottom of the unit and went to my Home page. There I pushed on the Safari button and to my surprise, I got the I Forgot My Password page again. Seeing no other recourse, I went thru the reset password process again and still was not able to exit out without pressing the button on my iPod. So now, everytime I launch Safari, I get the I Forgot My Password page. Has anyone out there experienced the same problem or know how to fix it? Thanks for any help on this.

iPod touch, iOS 4.3.2

Hi,

Try closing the Safari app from the multi-tasking tray: Double-click the home button and select the Safari app from the multi-tasking tray. Touch it until it starts to vibrate, and then tap the little red minus sign in the top left-hand corner of the app.

Hope this helps!
