My Ipod doesn´t work with the Ipod connectivity system in my car

My car it`s an Audi A3 and the Ipod doesn´t recognize the system, even it doesn`t get charged. I`ve tried this function with an Ipod classic and it works well.

iPod touch, iOS 4.3
