keep getting apple id disabled on ipod touch - what to do?

apple id was disabled due to conflict with Itunes store. I created a new one, updated the settings on Ipod Touch and when I go to update apps it comes back apple ID disabled - what do I do?

Apps (including free ones and iTunes purchases) are linked to the iTunes account id with which they are bought, not to the device that they are on. If you have apps on your iPod Touch that you purchased/downloaded with your previous account then you can only update them with that previous account. Did/have you tried to get your previous account working again - there is some help on this page http://www.apple.com/support/appleid/
