Why can't I find Boot Camp 3.0 download?

Has anyone seen a download of Boot Camp 3.0? Not 2.2 or 3.1 just 3.0.

Thanks!

It would be nice if Boot Camp Assistant (maybe by the time it reaches 9.0) would download the drivers.

Apple seems oppossed to posting 3.0 or 4.0 or back in 2007 there was 2.0, online. The last time the initial driver package was online was beta back in 2007 with Boot Camp 1.x. Now it always comes from your OS X DVD.

There seems to be a broken feature in Boot Camp ever since 10.6.6 that ASKs if you want to download, but just hangs, does nothing, has never worked for anyone. Maybe they were getting ready for Lion when there is no DVD.

We like you but here to tell you what we know that works or not, that's all.

A spare DVD isn't all bad either.

I keep everything in folders and on DMG. I have Windows drive with any installers and updates.

I copied the Windows Boot Camp volume to a folder (950MB I think for Boot Camp 3.0) so I would have it, and have it backed up.

Laptops I can see not having huge multiple hard drives and limited smaller drives and drive space.

No PC vendor would ever do it this way. They include a CD like Apple with any new motherboard with Windows support software.

A mac will run w/o Apple's to some extent, it isn't like you can't. Windows 7 has a wide range of hardware it supports.

You wouldn't have the Apple TimeServices to keep Mac and Windows using different time servers, the data/time are always off.... seems like something is wrong to me there.

No OS Switcher in Windows.

Trouble with internet and wireless is perhaps the hardest.

Getting video graphic device enabled, a bummer.

Dear Hatter, thank you for the detail. but I do not catch your point. 950MB is not a problem what ever inside. I already download 380MB for 3,2 in 5-6 minutes I can wait few minutes more and copy to DVD and solve my problem. I ask Apple to put this file to web side for those that has old boot camp and after upgrading Windows 7 have internal speaker probem to work. 3,2 is soving this problem according to discussion forums.

Why can't I find Boot Camp 3.0 download?
