I have 2 graphics cards in my Power Mac G5, one is a NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT graphics card which i believe came with it, the other is a NVIDIA GeForce 6600. The problem I have is that the NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT card makes a horrible fan noise, and I am looking for a way to unplug it, or cut it off from the power supply safely. Any advise is welcome.

Remove it.
Computer recyclers will have dozens of replacement fans. Because they typically run non-stop, the lubrication wears off. Could be a $2.00 fix.
That's exactly what I want to do, but since I have never had a Mac before, Apple's case design is new to me. I want to know how to access the wire to remove it.

Keep in mind that video cards have an extra tab at the tail end so don't forget to gently push the tab to the side.
The video card fans typically plug into power pins on the video card so removal of the card will expose the connection. Otherwise, just follow the fan power leads.
