I have a Dynex DX-CR121 All-in-1 Card Reader. It works like a charm with my older PowerMac G5 running OS 10.5.x. I have upgrades to a newer Macbook Pro with an i5 processor running OS 10.6.7. Image Capture doesn't recognize the reader. Am I missing a driver? I have the disk but the Mac driver on it is for OS 9.x. Ideas?

I bought a RocketFish card reader. This worked like a charm. It is pricey and the reviews I read about it (after I bought it, of course) mark it as a POS with a short life span. We'll see how well it serves me.
Having the exact same problem. It used to work just fine, and I know the card not corrupt, because I can view the pictures on my camera.
Any help? Without having to buy a new reader?
Okay - I did some more troubleshooting on mine after extensive searching for drivers and other solutions. Nothing was working.
What I found was a single broken pin in the port for the card I was trying to read from.
You all may want to check into this. After much frustration, it turned out to not be a software issue.
