How to reset "restriction" codes?

    If you mean that your forgot your restriction passcode, you do the same thing if you forgot your screen-lock passcode.  That is, you need to restore you iPod via iTunes.  WHen you try to restore it, if i asks for your passcode then you will have to place the iPod in recovery mode.  For recovery mode see:

    Please post back if you needed to go in recovery mode since the Apple instruction are unclear.

    i have the same issue. After restoring iPhone, i reset all setting, but still can't update the passcode of restrictions.

    hi, regarding this restriction passcode, i haven't remembered that i put any restriction passcode on my ipod touch 4g, is it possible that it was sync automatically, because there is another ipod touch that im syncing on the same itunes. now, im having the same problems with the two ipods regarding restriction passcode. can you help me deal with this? thanks a lot.

    To recovery from a lost/forgotten restriction passcode you need to restore your iPod to factory defaults/new iPod. If you restore from backup and the backup has the forgotten restrictions passcode the  unnow restrictions passcode will be restore to the iPod.  This was verified by a user.
