My iPad 2 wont charge or turn on

I got my iPad 2 yesterday and i synced it with iTunes and I could use the wall adapter fine. everything was working, i downloaded some apps, browsed the web but when i woke up thismorniong and went to put the iPad on i wouldent turn on. I pluged it into charge and it wouldnt indicte any sign of charging. I tryed plugging it into several sockets and my laptop but no sign if it turning on or charging! HELP!
