Going to the System Preferences to change the desktop image it does not work any more.
I have access to all images (personal or systems pictures) but there is no effect when I click once or twice on any of them ?
How can I restore this function that was working fine in the past ?

I have the same situation as Marc; however, I do not have access to images. The multicolor circle keeps turning.
This application (Desktop & Screen Saver) is not working anymore.
