How do I set up my mac to shoot tethered to my Canon 7D?
I would like to shoot video with my 7d and I wonder if I could connect it to my Mac Book Pro and not have to worry about memory problems. Is this possible?

What does Canon have to say?
Hi,
I've tethered my Canon 1000D to my Mac Book Pro (10.6.6) using Canon's EOS Utility. It worked fine if a little slowly and I was able to send the image directly to Aperture after capture. The utility came with the software bundle in the camera box. See if you have something similar for your 7D.
Alastair.
I had a problem with my 40 D Canon Camera saying no camera detected on LR3 tether.
Starting working when I did the following:
In LR 3
>File
>Export
>Plugin manager
>Enable- Canon Tether Plugin
>Done
Go Back to
>File
>Tethered Capture
>Start Tethered Capture
>OK
>Plugin And Start Camera
Hope that helps I was Pulling my hair out
